The GR III Diary Edition has all the features of the standard GR III model plus new functions, including a new image-control mode for creating photos that appear as if they originated on negative film, the ability to display more information on the shutdown screen just before the power is shut off and enhanced Smartphone integration*.
The GR III Diary Edition features a metallic, warm-gray finished body accentuated with a natural-silver ring around the lens barrel. The textured finish makes it easier to get a firm grip on the camera.

“Negative-Film” Image Control mode
“Negative-Film” has been added as a new Image Control mode. By adjusting the color tones based on various negative films, the perfect balance between the faded look of a photo printed from negative film and welldefined colors has been achieved.
Power-Off Info Display*
In addition to the number of shots taken on the day, the total number of shots and firmware version can now be displayed (conventional display of only the number of shots taken on the day is also available).
Enhanced Smartphone integration*
Smartphone integration has been enhanced with a power-off function from ImageSync now available. You can check and transfer images and turn off the power while the camera is in your bag.
Shutdown Screen - Exclusive to GR III Diary Edition
When the camera’s power is turned off, the camera displays an original shut-down screen featuring the original, emboss-type product logo, against a background harmonizing a fabric-like texture and a color symbolizing the camera body finish.
